Baby-Sitter Patient care at home

Description:

    Baby sitter COR 513302 : Baby sitter is the qualified person whose intervention is reflected in the care and supervision of the child at home. Its beneficiaries are one or more children and they operate in relation to the child and his family and other legal representatives of the child. He can develop independent activities, through direct contract with the family of the child / children, or can be the employee of an accredited organization which performs care and supervision at home.
    The physical environment of the baby sitter's work is represented by both the child and his family home, as well as outside, in the community. Baby sitter is involved in a relationship of care, upbringing and education of the child / children and is responsible for implementing the actions and activities of the planning undertaken with the parents of the child / children.

In accordance with the specific needs of the job, the baby sitter performs the following tasks:

  • Planning activities
  • Communicating with the child
  • Maintaining the integrity and safety of the beneficiary
  • Respecting the rights of the beneficiary
  • Providing physical care of the child
  • Providing child nutrition
  • Creating the context of emotional stability
  • Stimulating the development of personal autonomy and social development
  • Support the integrated development of the child
  • Manage papers and documents relating to the beneficiary
  • Develop positive relationship with the child's family
 
Result:

    A total of 29 people completed the Baby Sitter course, which lasted 4 months and were sustained by accredited textbooks and in accordance with standards approved by the National Authority for Qualifications. The 360 hours of classes were composed of 120 hours of teaching theory and 240 hours of practice.

SELECTION CRITERIA for the enrollment of women in training courses in occupation babysitter:

  1. Aged between 16 and 64 years;
  2. Has no workplace, has no income from an economic or social activity, or under a contract of employment or independently (on ​​its own);
  3. Physical and mental health makes it apt for the care and supervision of children;
  4. Did not suffer a conviction that reached a final court decision;
  5. Graduated at least 8th grade.
  6. Obtained favorable approval at the psychological evaluation, to attend babysitter training.
